| Why do Russian ladies prefer overseas men?
Certainly, Russian women like Russian men. Unluckily, the number of thoughtful, loving, responsible, family-oriented males in Russia and the CIS is rather low. A lot of males are alcohol addicts and lazy. As a rule, they spend time with friends, drink and have affairs with other women. Thus, Russian females do not only have to work hard, but also to do the housework, which is characteristic of the Russian society. Very often Russian men are not engaged in raising of children and actually have an ill-defined understanding of 'a good Dad', as many of them were raised by mothers who lost their husbands in the war.
Furthermore, females significantly outnumber males in Russia. Because of a considerable number of ladies, Russian men are often rather spoiled and do not value their wives the way they should. Women feel happy even if they marry such a type of men as described above, as they are afraid of being alone, despite their strong-willed and decisive personality. Those who lack confident, put up with the unacceptable behavior of their husbands, others leave.
In fact, it is almost impossible for a 35-year-old lady to get married. If a woman has kids, she is unlikely to put on a wedding dress, too.
A considerable number of Russian women think that overseas males make better husbands, since they are more liberated, family-oriented in comparison to Russian males and will pitch in with the household chores. They assume that they will create a stable financially secure union with overseas men. A significant number of Russian women also reckon that overseas they will have more chances to make a career and can provide a better childhood for their children than in the fatherland.
A lot of Russian women prefer older western males, since they feel safer knowing they are unlikely to be dumped for a younger woman. Since females are looking for love and financial security, they need experienced and dependable males nearby.
There are countless examples of happy marriages with Russian women. If the union is grounded on mutual trust, respect, understanding and love, ethnical differences will not be a hindrance to create a stable happy family. |
