If you are planning to start a home business or work from home, there are a number of possibilities open to you. There are MLM programs, affiliate programs, creating your own products and selling them, CPA marketing and many more. However, there is one thing that all of these money making strategies have in common, and that is that in order to be successful, you need to build a list of prospects or customers. The home business entrepreneur’s biggest asset is their list, and if you can build a list and a relationship with the people on your list then you will be able to generate revenue from it over and over again. As we have established, list building is one of the key factors of running a successful home business, but the challenge is how to get people to opt in to your email list. List building is often a misunderstood word as far as online marketing strategies are concerned and many people mistakenly believe that this term means the actual selling of goods and services online. List building though, is about building trust and establishing yourself as an expert, and is an activity that successful internet marketers do every day which is pivotal to their success. Once you have the relationship, you can promote affiliate programs, products and services to generate repeat sales. You can send out regular newsletters with offers inside, or notify your list of special offers and promotions, and you know that they are relevant as they have opted in to your list. The most common way to build a list is to use a lead generation page, more commonly known as a squeeze page. Squeeze pages are designed to obtain a reader's name and email address by encouraging users to opt-in to an e-mail list to receive more information about the topic of the website. You can collect these permission-based e-mail addresses and then follow up at a later date, or over a series of dates. Squeeze pages can be used in many different ways, but the main purpose of having a squeeze page is not only to show your prospect the benefits of what you are offering, but to help you build your opt-in list. Normally, in return for the visitor entering their email address, you would offer them a free report, free webinar, interview with an expert or something along those lines. The key is to offer something of value in return for their details. This will begin to build the relationship, and allow you to show them what you have to offer. http://www.easyincomegenerator.com/listbuilder
